The Vakkom Moulavi Foundation Trust, in collaboration with the School of Gandhian Thought and Development Studies, Mahatma Gandhi University, presents an Online Lecture Series on education practices and policies with comparative insights from Kerala, India and China.

The first lecture, Kerala’s Education Paradox: Progress, Inequality and Policy in Comparative Perspective, will be delivered by Dr. Sajitha Bashir, former Global Adviser (Education) and Africa Education Manager at the World Bank.

The session will be held on 28 January 2026 at 7 pm IST and will explore critical dimensions of educational progress and policy challenges through a comparative lens.
