Abstract:
Health of the children is one of the main concerns of the parents. But strangely, their dental care is a neglected area. Most of the parents are unaware of the importance of teeth and the necessity of maintaining them with proper care. Whether it be milk teeth or permanent teeth, teeth are to be taken care of and maintained properly. The present talk by Dr. Gopu is to create an awareness among the parents regarding the oral healthcare of their children..

After his Master’s in Paediatric Dentistry, Dr.Gopu Hareendralal preferred to concentrate on the dental health of children and during his tenure in the Health Services he had conducted several dental health programs in schools. He has given many talks in schools for the parents of children to make them aware of the dental health of their kids. He has also conducted several training programs for dental professionals on paediatric oral healthcare.
